Aurora -Pathfinders wishes to invite you and your colleagues to discover Scotlands many ‘Wild Places’ from a unique perspective. We know the importance of both team building and camaraderie, and in that respect Aurora-Pathfinders can offer you the opportunity to collectively share in an unforgettable team experience by participating in either our half or full day trips on a Scottish Loch or River, or our two day wild camps on remote Scottish Loch Islands accessed by open canoe. In addition we can arrange trips to access some of the more remote Scottish Munros by canoe. Truly splendid expeditions. Please contact us for details or to discuss your requirements.
Team Aurora will introduce you to open canoe skills in superb locations such as the River Teith, Loch Tay, Loch Ba or Loch Laidon. Our trips will introduce you to the skills of handling an open boat in different water environments, which will be equally exhilerating for both the experienced and absolute beginner to paddling. On river trips we’ll usually congregate at a predetermined put in spot, head off downstream, to be met at the end of the journey and transported back by shuttle to the start.

WATER SAFETY NOTICE
Your safety, of course, is our top priority. As ever, you’ll be with highly experienced Aurora qualified instructors, whose skills and knowledge are second to none.
Water conditions are obviously critical to safety, and we keep a keen eye on the weather and how it will affect our activities. If adverse conditions mean we have to change our plans then we’ll make every effort to come up with an alternative that’s just as good.
Open canoes can be paddled solo, double or even as a family group. No other boat has been designed for such a diverse set of purposes from negotiating white water rapids as shown by Lizzie above, or for simply moving on expansive bodies of open water such as our beautiful Scottish Lochs, both being guaranteed to be equally enjoyable.
