Aurora-Pathfinders are proud to present the National Navigation Awards Scheme. As registered providers for this award we can teach you how to navigate. Don’t get lost or feel confused by a map and compass ever again.

Each level of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards has a minimum of 12 hours training time and builds to make you, the individual into a very competent navigator. Aurora-Pathfinders offers these courses over 2 days and they are run in easily accessible areas.

We use the beautiful Chatelherault Country Park south of Hamilton as one of the bases for our courses. Chatelerault has over 10 miles of Woodland walks and the magnificent Avon gorge complete with ruined castles, ancient oak trees and white cattle. Chatelherault has good parking and easy Motorway access to the M74 and M8 via the Bellshill express way.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Costs of courses: Bronze £50, Silver £50, Gold training £70. Tutor Ratio for Bronze and Silver: max 6:1 for Gold training and assessment: max 4:1 The Gold Assessment must be done after a consolidation period  in order to gain personal experience. 

We can also run courses at a venue of your choice, night navigation exercises can also be arranged. Please contact us for details.
