Brian McKelvie Kenneth King and the Aurora Team

 

 

 

 

Brian McKelvie MBA (Distinction ) BA  Brian retired in October 2005 from Strathclyde Police during his service he gained considerable Organisational experience in partnership working,team building and event planning. Brian’s interest in the realms of providing a quality service to the public was recognised in the year 2000 by his receipt of a CoSLA award for continuous improvement. His leadership talents were ably supported by the attainment of a BA degree from Strathclyde University in 2000 and latterly a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2002. His later years of service were in the capacity of Airport Commander at Glasgow International Airport. Where his natural energy and vision saw him elected to the positions of chair of the United Kingdom Airport Police Commanders group and Vice president of the European Airport and seaport associations both positions offering him significant strategic experience working at the highest levels of both National and International Governments.

 Kenneth King MBA  BA

 Kenneth retired from the Police in October 2005 and  gained his policing experience in Glasgow as a patrol officer and as a Detective.  He gained particular experience in Partnership working, Event planning and Team building with Local authorities and private sector organisations. He became the Force representative in Youth issues and mental Health with a great  interest in Youth Diversion. The Diversion of young people from crime remains a passion for Kenneth. He has insight and understanding of the problems of urban deprivation in the inner city environment. He completed his Police career after 2 years as Project manager for the Force Job Evaluation scheme. A business critical strategic project, which he established from a standing start. 

Kenneth is passionate about the outdoors and how the environment can be used to develop the individual and the team.

Kenneth additionaly has experience of teaching the disabled, the blind and children suffering from ADHD in the outdoor environment. He is a qualified BASI Ski Instructor, Mountain Leader and Trail Cycle Leader.
